Update

Last Sunday we had Tim's cousin, Rich Vassar (Tim's Best Man), and his wife, Erika, and baby girl, Macy (8 months), over for a BBQ. They have just recently moved back into the area from Kansas. It was really good to see them. I had met Erika only once before so it was nice to get to know her better. They are both really fun and relaxed people to hang with. I'm excited to have another couple to get together with!

Erika works a couple days a week down at Havillah Road Printing and her daycare wasn't going to be able to babysit this last week, so she had asked if I would be willing. I thought it would be a good opportunity so we planned on it. It was good to have them over beforehand so that mom and baby could see where Macy would be spending 2 days.

Here are a couple pictures of Cedric and Macy together. Cedric did really well with her and enjoyed giving her hugs and kisses and showing her his toys.

This first picture is a late afternoon "nap time" in front of a classic Looney Toons DVD. They were both very tired and getting cranky.


Cedric is waving to Macy in this picture. She was such an easy baby to watch. Very quiet and sweet.

And here's a better picture of her. She and Cedric do have a similar "Vassar" look. :) We all thought they had the same big, round head.

Here's a pic of Tim and Cedric taking a much-needed nap the next day. Tim just got home from his overnight shift.

Oh, and this was so cute today! Tim was working with Hemi, teaching him to sit and "dance" and the like. Well, Cedric did better than Hemi half the time and sat every time Tim told Hemi to "sit". It was adorable! We had to have them show off for the camera. Note: They are not both getting doggy treats. :)
